The scientific committee for the Iranian Congress of Gastroenterology and Hepathology 2015 (ICGH 2015) strongly encourages and welcomes the submission of abstracts on current advances in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and liver.

- Abstracts may only be submitted on-line. Detailed instructions for on-line submission are available on our website.
- Submissions by fax, e-mail or courier are not acceptable. There is no paper submission form.
- Please read all instructions carefully before preparing your abstract.
- Avoid submission within 72 hours of deadline for best system performance.
- The registration fees for the presenting author will not be waived.
- The length of the abstract should not exceed 2,900 printable characters (300 words) including author details, headers, punctuation and blank spaces.
- Abstracts can be saved in draft status and completed before the deadline. Only abstracts with the status “Final submission” will be considered for review.
- Choose one primary topic listed on the website which best corresponds to the content of your abstract.
- Tick the relevant box corresponding to your preferred method of presentation. Note that the Scientific Committee may or may not consider this choice
- Only original contributions will be considered for presentation.
- Pending approval, selected papers will be presented in the oral, video or poster sessions.
- Abbreviations should be avoided in titles, but may be used in the text if they are defined at first usage.
- Abstracts should be checked carefully for spelling and grammatical errors. Accepted abstracts will not be subject to further proofing, and will appear in the abstract book as submitted.
- Abstracts for oral presentations and posters (excluding case reports) should be structured to include the following: introduction, Method, Results and Conclusion.
- Abstracts for case reports should be structured to include the following: Introduction, Case report and Discussion.
- Abstracts for case reports will only be considered for the poster presentation sessions
- Statements such as “data will be presented” will lead to automatic rejection of the abstract.
Abstract submission online
It is recommended and preferred that you use our online abstract submission service through congress website. You must use Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later to use the online abstract submission service. The service is developed so that you can enter and edit your abstract step by step, and return to edit it several times. You can then check your account later to see whether your abstract is accepted.
